Festival season is here and you miss it most when you are not living in the same city or country as your family lives. I was missing them badly today that I don’t know when I open my laptop and looked at our pictures.

Suddenly when I was looking at my family pictures from childhood. I got a flashback of so many funny incidents. In one image, I was sitting in Gurudwara Sahib with my Sister and Brother. In the image, we were having Kadah Parshad. It reminds me of a funny incident that happened between me and my siblings.

I was born and brought up in Shri Chamkaur sahib. My grandmother used to take me, my brother, and my sister to gurudwara sahib.

one day she took us to gurudwara Jiwan Sahib. She was doing selfless service (Seva) and we were sitting in the gurudwara sahib. Everyone there knows us very well. We were waiting for someone to come and give us Parshad but no one came.

Then the person reciting, signs us to take it by ourselves. There were 2 containers which included kadah Parshad and dry Parshad. We took the parshad from the first one which was kadah parshad and went home after some time.

The next day, when we went to the gurudwara sahib again, the person who was reciting there told us that yesterday he was telling us to take parshad from the container which was below the kadah parshad. because kadah parshad was still needed to offer to Guru Granth Sahib Ji. We went home after having kadah parshad but they had to make a new kadah parshad as we already took some out of it.

Today, It might not be the funniest childhood memory but it is the most innocent one. To this day, whenever our family sits together, we laugh after remembering this incident.
